Summary: The room was not ready when we got there. They were not happy that we booked through a "third party". I was told they charged a lot more for their rooms versus what we were paying. The lady that was in charge of housekeeping was outside smoking. The lady at the front desk kept texting her to see if the room was cleaned/ready. She was out there when we drove up. She finally came in and called someone to check. Before we went up to the room, the lady behind the desk said if we didn't like the room, the only thing she could do was give our money back. We could move to another hotel because they didn't have another room available. We went to the room; it was dirty and the smell was horrible. I tried to find another hotel but could not find one in our budget. We went to Walmart and bought cleaning products to clean our room. We will not be staying at Comfort Inn in Owensboro, KY again. Very disappointed!!!

Summary: There were stains all over the furniture and carpet and signs of mildew in the shower. The mattresses were wrapped in plastic which made me think they may have had a bed bug issue in the past.

Summary: No hair dryer in room. The message light never turned off. Staff outside instead of behind the counter. Shower/tub valve inoperative.the value received was not in line with what I paid.

Summary: We were extremely disappointed with our stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, we walked into our room and immediately noticed that the bed looked as if someone had already been lying on it. When we brought this up to the front desk employee, we were told that the housekeeper is ‘lazy’ and sometimes sits on the bed while making it. We asked about changing rooms and were informed the only available room was on the bottom floor, but it likely smelled bad due to a recent leak that had soaked the carpet. Instead of offering a proper solution, we were asked to check the sheets ourselves and were handed extra sheets to change them if they were dirty. The room itself was not well maintained—there were no toiletries stocked, no Kleenex provided, the lamp shades were stained and in poor condition, and the couch was visibly dirty and had a stain. Additionally, every time we entered or exited the property, there were people smoking cigarettes right outside the entrance, which made coming and going unpleasant. Overall, this was not the clean or comfortable stay we expected, and the lack of professionalism and basic standards of cleanliness was disappointing.

Summary: This hotel is by far the dirtiest place I’ve stayed. First room hadn’t been cleaned (very obvious). I complained and got a different room and it wasn’t much cleaner. Tried to find another hotel in the area but rooms were limited so we stayed but will not use this hotel in the future.

Summary: I did not like the large stains in the carpet. The air conditioning unit was noisy. In the breakfast area, there was no regular coffee. The attendant said she had told them a week ago that she needed regular coffee, but she never received it. She was polite and kept the area well stocked and clean, so it wasn't her fault; it was the fault of management.
